Half rock, half electronic pop, Stefy featured keyboardist Jason Gaviati, guitarist Sean Meyer, drummer Andreas Brobjer, and vocalist Stefy Rae.
Inspired by the likes of Pink, Blondie, and No Doubt, Stefy crafted an accessible but slightly edgy sound that was apparent on their first single, “Chelsea.” The band’s full-length debut, The Orange Album, arrived soon after on Wind-Up Records in late summer 2006. ~ Heather Phares
