Spoken is a Christian Hard rock/metal band that was formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 1996. The trio – Matt Baird, Scoop Roberts, and Isaiah Perez, started off with a nu-metal sound in their early albums “On Your Feet” and “What Remains.” Only around “Echoes of the Spirit Still Dwell” did their style develop into a harder, heavier rock sound.

The band signed on with Tooth and Nail records in 2001, developing “A Moment of Perfect Clarity,” “Last Chance To Breathe,” and their self-titled “Spoken.”

After a five-year hiatus that ended in 2013, their next album was developed independently – “Illusion.” Supported by their fans via crowdfunding campaigns, the band released “Breathe Again” in 2015 and “IX” in 2017.
