After Max Cavalera left Sepultura he formed Soulfly which lyrical themes in early albums (Soulfly, Primitive, 3, Prophecy) were based off of spirituality, political and religious themes while the later albums (Dark Ages, Conquer, Omen, Enslaved, Savages, Archangel, Ritual) are based off of war, violence, aggression, slavery, hatred and anger.
