“Sons of the People” is the official name of Produce 101 contestants Kang Daniel, Lee Dae Hwi, Kim Jaehwan, Ong Seong Wu, Park Woo Jin, and Hwang Minhyun, and Kim Jong Hyun better known as JR of NU'EST who performed the hit track “Never” on the Produce 101 Season 2 episode “35 Boys, 7 Concepts.”

Six members of this group were eventually ranked in the top 11 and promoted for a year and a half in the project group Wanna One.
