About Sonia Leigh

Sonia Leigh, born December 1978, is an American country music singer-songwriter. Beginning with her 1998 debut, Remember Me, Leigh has released six studio albums and performed extensively as a solo artist, headliner, and as the supporting act for Jason Mraz, The Marshall Tucker Band, Zac Brown Band, and Blackberry Smoke. Leigh also co-wrote the Zac Brown Band singles “Goodbye in Her Eyes” and “Sweet Annie”.

Her 2007 release Run or Surrender was produced by John Hopkins of the Zac Brown Band. Her Southern Ground Studios debut album, 1978 December, was released on September 27, 2011 with the hit single “My Name Is Money”. Leigh’s most recent EP, Mad Hatter, has been aptly described as an aggressive collection of troubled confessions, pushing her craft to the edge and beyond, almost abandoning her country roots for a bolder, rawer and more ambitious posture [1].
