About Sol Invictus

Sol Invictus is a neofolk band with martial-industrial/post-punk roots formed in 1987 in London, UK. It is considered to be one of the most influential dark-folk collectives. The sole constant member of the band is singer, composer and lyricist Tony Wakeford (ex-Death In June, ex-Above the Ruins, Crisis, Twa Corbies).
Over more than 30 years of the band history, the musicians released 17 studio albums, many live recordings and collaboration projects.
