About Sofia Delfino

Florida-born Venezuelan and Italian singer/songwriter, Sofia Delfino grew up between Caracas, Venezuela and Orlando, Florida, where there was only one thing on her mind: Music. At the age of 6, her dad played “Young at Heart” by Old Blue Eyes and her life changed forever. “I started singing because of Frank Sinatra”, she adds. Her talent quickly caught the attention of respected organizations dedicated to nurturing young talent and she joined the IDA program, led by Rudy Pérez (Marc Anthony, Christina Aguilera, Beyoncè) as well as The Little Dreams Foundation (founded by Phil and Orianne Collins). She has already shared the stage with Phil Collins, Dionne Warwick and Jon Secada and earned her first big break-spot on Univision’s highly rated music competition, La Banda (Season 2) opening her eyes to the endless possibilities. “It taught me that nothing in this industry depends on anyone else but you,” she reflects. Eventually, everything started making sense. Spanish language music was her calling and almost every song she wrote was in Spanish. Her upcoming first single “Helado”, a trap melody riffing off some sexual innuendo is testament that if you’re honest to who you are, people feel that.
