Sofi de la Torre is an independent Spanish singer-songwriter that makes “pop done right”, which is the name of her own label but also how she describes her music: “It doesn’t really sound full on pop or indie pop… ‘pop done right’ is what came to my mind because it has R&B influences”, she explained to Highsnobiety.
Her debut single was 2014’s “Vermillion”, a song that ended up on her debut EP Give Up At 2, released during the same year. Her second EP Mess, which included “lush pop bangers that she’d been holding onto until the time was right” according to Noisey, was released in 2015. In 2017 she released Another. Not Me. I’m Done, her first full-lenght project, which featured a collaboration with R&B singer/producer Blackbear “Flex Your Way Out”—her most popular song to date on Spotify—and previously released singles “$” and “Views of You”.
