Hailing from Clapton, Hackney, Adrian Davis, initially known as S Kid, first made his mark on the grime scene around 2004. Initially a member of Krucial (UK) and Ironik’s crew Da Hoodlumz, he was listed on their website as of November 2004, but his name had been removed by January 2005. At this time, he had been scouted by Bruza to join the Aftershock Hooligans, a division of Terror Danjah’s grime label and collective Aftershock spearheaded by the veteran cockney MC. Joined by Tinie Tempah and D Dark, he appeared on the remix of “Doin' Me” in December 2005, going on to work closely with the clique.
As grime’s initial hype died down and other underground UK genres like bassline came to the fore, the East London MC formed Flyist Trio with D Dark and singer Ashley, scoring a minor Channel U era hit with the single “We Got This Going On”, featuring D Dark’s brother Xploder. He also appeared on various releases by Aftershock compadres including Terror Danjah, Scratcha DVA and Badness, but was notably absent from both the Hooligans' 2006 album It’s Coming Home and the wider group’s March 2007 debut album Shock to the System.
In the intervening years, following a hiatus, he has adopted the new stage name Snowman Baby, released various works with Roll Deep legend and GRAMMY Award winner Flowdan including the 2021 EP Black Rain, and teamed up with original Sugababes member Mutya Buena on the Morfius-produced 2022 single “Fashion”.
