Renaldo Whitman (b. December 4th, 1980), a.k.a. Slick Pulla, is a rapper hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. He gained recognition as one-third of the rap trio U.S.D.A alongside Jeezy and Blood Raw. With a similar rapping style to Jeezy, he is often regarded as his protegé. While his laid-back style and melodic flow may evoke the vibes of a West Coast rapper, his distinct southern drawl roots his music in the streets of the South.

In 2005, he launched his debut mixtape 4th Ward Day. Throughout his career he has made notable guest appearances on tracks by various artists, such as in 2012 on the song “Seventeen” by Freddie Gibbs and Jeezy.

Slick Pulla is signed to Jeezy’s record label, Corporate Thugz Entertainment. He also runs his own label called Prestige Entertainment. In 2007, he faced legal troubles and was arrested for a parole violation related to gun possession. However, he was released in 2010.

The rapper had a fight with fellow artist Waka Flocka Flame. Their groups had a verbal exchange, and as a result, Waka Flocka got a black eye. Several months later, by chance, Slick Pulla’s crew and Waka Flocka’s crew ran into each other at Hot Beats Studios, an Atlanta recording studio. Slick Pulla confronted Waka Flocka, but Waka Flocka avoided a getting into a fight by claiming he was focused on his work. It’s worth mentioning that Waka Flocka has given conflicting statements in the media, expressing his desire for a physical confrontation with Slick Pulla multiple times.
