Dayton, Ohio Funk group founded by trumpeter Steve Washington and trombonist Floyd Miller, Slave experienced their greatest successes in the late ‘70s and early '80s.

Their most famous member, Steve Arrington, joined the group in 1978, eventually taking over lead vocals in ‘79’s Just a Touch Of Love.
