SLANDER is a DJ duo from Los Angeles, California, consisting of Derek Andersen and Scott Land. After their successful remix of Showtek’s “We Like to Party” in 2014, they have quickly grown to be a well known name in the Dance music scene.

First meeting in university, Andersen and Land later went to and graduated from Icon Collective, a music production school, where they also met NGHTMRE, who became a good friend to the duo. After forming SLANDER in 2010, Andersen and Land started out with some remixes and developed their own sub-genre, “Heaven Trap”. In 2015 they released their first EP, “Nuclear Bonds”, together with NGHTMRE, through Diplo’s Label “Mad Decent”. Later that year they published their first big vocal single “Love Again”, featuring vocalist WAVZ, which became a great success.

Another EP and several successful singles through labels such as Never Say Die and Monstercat later, SLANDER and NGHTMRE founded their own label “Gud Vibrations” in 2018, named after a single from their Nuclear Bonds EP.
