Pauline Skött is a singer/songwriter born in Vikarbyn, Sweden. She grew up in a “forest commune run by outcast folk musicians” and remained unexposed to popular music until her teens when she discovered the band Muse. She also began to take an interest in video games such as The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy, she started writing her own video game soundtracks and later decided to pursue music. She attended Musikmakarna for two years and signed with Sony shortly after she graduated.
Her music is driven by her own electric, ethereal vocals and instrumental accompaniment so essential it seems almost spare.
