Gianmarco Parente better known as Skaate (stylized as “5kaate”) is a trapper and songwriter from Termoli, Italy. He began writing, mixing and producing at 18. Skaate released his debut track on February 2, 2020 which is titled “ALI DI CARTA”.

In 2018, after finishing school he moved to Perugia, where in addition to studying engineering he started making music, adopting the name Skaate, in homage to his musical idols.
His name is also related to an acronym recalling a military tactic that he changed to S.K.A.A.T.E.
