Sister Crayon started out as “Silent and Clemintine,” a duo between lead vocalist Terra Lopez and producer Dani Fernandez. A year after their formation in 2010, the group expanded to include keyboardist Genaro Ulloa and drummer Nicholas Suhr. The group changed their name to Sister Crayon afterwards: Lopez explained, “I didn’t want to be shy anymore, and I wanted to have a name that was bolder, and a completely different alter ego.”
They signed with Warner Brother’s Records in May of 2016 and changed their group name once again in July of 2016 to “Rituals of Mine.”
