Sir Mix-a-Lot (Anthony Ray), born August 12th 1963
is an American record producer, songwriter and rapper. His debut album, “Swass”, was released in 1988 and became certified platinum by 1990. “Seminar”, was released in 1989 as his second album. “Mack Daddy” was released in 1992 as his third album. It contained his most popular single titled “Baby Got Back” which went double platinum and won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance. His 1994 album, “Chief Boot Knocka” featured the decently popular single “Put Em' On The Glass” and the Grammy nominated song “Just Da Pimpin' In Me”. “Return of the Bumpasaurus” was released in 1996. It received low sales due to small promotion from his label.
After a long break, Mix-a-Lot released the album “Daddy’s Home” in 2003.
