About Simplistic.

Simplistic is a rock band from Sacramento, California. Formed in 2000 by Ivan England, Danny Cocke, Nicholas Cullison, and Lance Nelson (additional members include Justin Barnes, Brian Rinehart, and Steve Avery). The band would go on to sign a record deal in 2002 with Machine Shop Recordings, a Warner Brothers subsidiary company owned by Mike Shinoda of international multi-platinum recording artist Linkin Park. Simplistic’s 4 song EP “The Impact of Crashing” (2003) was produced by Shinoda at Pulse Studios in Hollywood, California and was used to obtain international distribution for the label. While searching for a producer for their debut major label album in 2004, Simplistic worked with Rock & Roll Hall of Fall Inductee, Danny Lohner of Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, and Marilyn Manson. Simplistic parted ways before releasing a major label album, but recorded a collection of songs that are now being released independently.
