Simone Torres is a recording engineer and singer from New York who works closely with vocal engineer Kuk Harrell. She has engineered songs for some of the biggest names in music, including Cardi B, Ariana Grande, and Normani.

Torres first took a serious interest in music at the age of nine, when her father began work as a DJ. She began taking vocal lessons and played gigs through college, when she landed her first engineering job.

Torres told Gender Amplified that her biggest musical influences include Beyoncé and Etta James. She also spoke to the publication about her career goals:

I want to be known as the go to vocal producer in the industry, the next Kuk Harrell if you will. I want to be known as someone who is just good to be around and to work with, that makes the vibe of the room open and light, that can help the artist reach their vision.
