Silly Wizard was a Scottish folk band formed in 1970 in Edinburgh.
Originally formed by university students Bob Thomas and Gordon Jones the band soon grew into a large cast, featuring Bill Watkins, Chris Pritchard, Madelaine Taylor (Who replaced Chris Pritchard), Neil Adam, Andy M. Stewart, Freeland Barbour, and Alastair “Ali” Donaldson. (Who replaced Neil Adam.)
Silly Wizard made 12 Albums and 1 single, and earned induction to the Scottish Traditional Music Hall of Fame in 2012.
