Shy Glizzy, a.k.a. Young Jefe, is a hip-hop artist from Southeast Washington, D.C.. Glizzy has an impressive discography with eighteen records, and about a decade in the rap game. Two of his popular mixtape series, Law and Young Jefe, each have three installments, dating from 2012 to 2020.

Shy Glizzy achieved his first solo gold track in 2020 with his 2018 track “Do You Understand,” and has two other solo tracks near gold with 2013’s “Awwsome” and 2014’s “White Girl.” Additionally, Glizzy featured on the 2016 track “Crew,” which earned a platinum certification.

Glizzy is the leader of Glizzy Gang, and frequently features many of his local D.C. rappers, such as 3 Glizzy, Taliban Glizzy, as well as the late 30 Glizzy.
