Shortie was a nu metal/emo band from Sacramento, California formed in 1998. The band released 4 albums, Wipe Your Eyes (1999), Watching You Drown (2000), Worthless Smiles (2002, later rereleased in 2003) and Without A Promise (2005) and an EP, When You’re a Machine (2001). The band dissolved in June 2006 after poor sales of Without A Promise. A reunion show was played on August 20, 2011, but the band has not reformed.
