Shocks/Shockz (aka Younger Nuttie) was a member of PYG, a road rap collective from Peckham, South London. Notable for his raw delivery, fellow Peckham rapper Tiny Boost says he was one of the only people that had Boost ‘under pressure’ with his skills, and says he was one of the ‘blueprints’ and ‘founders’ of the South London rap scene.
Shockz disappeared from the scene in the early 2010s. There are rumours that Shockz was at some point deported to Africa or became a Born Again Christian (or both). Though popular rumours, they are completely false. Not much has been heard of him for many years. This changed in 2018 when he featured in Tiny Boost’s documentary, Strictly For The Streets wherein he confirmed that the above rumours were false. It was also confirmed that Shocks currently resides in America and is “done” with rapping, although Tiny Boost says that one day he hopes for a 16 bar from Shocks again.
The most popular song by Shocks's is Ridin’ Spree
Shocks's first song Ridin’ Spree released on Fri Jan 01 2010.
