Shin Ji-min (born January 8th, 1991), better known by her stage name “Jimin”, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She’s known best for being the leader and main rapper of the K-pop girl group AOA which debuted in 2012 under FNC Entertainment.

In 2015 Jimin competed in the first season of Unpretty Rapstar. She made it to the semi-finals but was beaten by the other contenders. During the show, she released several collaboration singles, most notably “Good Start 2015” (With singer Lee Seul-ong ) and “Puss” (with rapper Iron ).

In March 2016 she debuted as a soloist with the single “Call You Bae” featuring Xiumin of EXO. She has yet to come out with a full-length solo project though.
