Sherren Olivia

Sherren Olivia is a Jamaican-American singer, song writer. Born and raised just outside of Chicago, IL, she grew up the youngest of three. At an early age, she started singing in church, but it wasn’t until college that she considered singing as a profession. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and graduated with a dual degree in sociology and communication, but continued to make music with many local Chicago artists. Her biggest inspiration comes from friends, family and D’Angelo, who she attributes her initial desire to sing. In 2015, she released her first two singles on Soundcloud, Come Home and Flower (live at home). The songs quickly built traction gaining over 100,000 plays. She now prepares to release her first project, Oasis, early 2022 hoping to continue to release this spring.
