Shepherd is a 22-year old, Latino hip-hop artist from Miami, Florida, whose first hit is represented by his 2019 single, “Gametime.” With a music taste that’s a mix between sports anthems, relatable street life, and messages of hope, Shepherd has earned a spot in the Spotify’s Global Viral Top 50 charts in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. Having excelled as a linebacker in high school, Shepherd is able to speak to the heart of the athlete through his music: this has undoubtedly impacted the success of “Gametime”, which currently boasts more than 11 million streams on Spotify and is still soaring.
In February 2018, he released his debut album, The Intern, expertly telling the story of his life since moving to Chicago, IL the year prior. That project catapulted him into the homes and playlists of many, and resulted in an 8-city tour with other talented artists who share his mission and vision. Shepherd’s lyrics are both rebellious and counter-cultural. He consistently challenges the status quo in his songs, garnering the respect and the loyalty of many new fans.
Being raised with two older brothers by a single immigrant mom, Shepherd’s heart is to bring the Gospel message in a relatable way through his music.
