Shekhinah Thandi Donnell mostly known as Shekhinah is a Pop/R&B singer-songwriter from Durban, South Africa.

Shekhinah was among the Top 32 of M-Net’s Season 7 of SA Idols in 2011 and the Top 6 of Season 8 of SA Idols in 2012.

Her first published song was “Back To The Beach” with Kyle Deutsch which was certified Gold by RiSA. At the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards the song was nominated for Best Pop and Alternative and Won.

She has associated acts with DJ Sliqe, Kyle Deutsch, Black Coffee and Sketchy Bongo. She preforms in many corporate functions, government events and public events.

Her debut album Rose Gold was certified gold by RiSA. At the moment she is signed to her record label Sony Music.
