Shazee Ishak

FIRST bursting onto the entertainment scene in 2005, he was once considered a hip-hop artiste who had the potential to be a big star.

The Penangite, whose real name is Al-Muhammad Ishazee Ishak (26), dabbled in music from his secondary school days. He was sending out his music demos everywhere until one day, his compositions caught the interest of singer-songwriter Ajai, who took him under his “Wake The Baby” label in 2005. He then took on the stage name, Shazzy.

Some of Shazee’s works include singer Hafiz Suip’s Kejar, Ayda Jebat’s Mata, Black’s Obsesi, Tomok’s Berlari and Elizabeth Tan’s Tabah.
