Shaqisdope, born Shaquille Baptiste on November 16, 1992, is an up and coming rapper from Toronto – critically acclaimed as “the Toronto wordsmith” – is making his way up from the underground with mixtapes such as Sophomore Season, Early Beginnings: The Shaquille Baptiste Story, the Black Frames, and the ShaqIsDope EP.
Over the span of his career, he’s released successful tracks that never made any of his projects. Tracks such as “DWNTWN” and “Power” played huge parts in Shaq’s success.
In both 2017 and 2018, he pitched to become an XXL Freshmen, but unfortunately, wasn’t chosen.
