About Shane McAnally

Shane McAnally, sometimes credited as Shane Mack, is an American songwriter and producer with a specialty in Country music. Before his impressive songwriting career, McAnally was a solo artist who charted three singles onto Billboard’s Hot Country chart. The artist is best known for his continuous collaborations with country acts Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt, and Midland.

Shane has been been nominated for ten GRAMMYs and has won three. He won his first two GRAMMYs in 2014 for Best Country Song (“Merry Go ‘Round”) and Best Country Album for Same Trailer Different Park. His third GRAMMY came in 2019 with “Space Cowboy” winning Best Country Song. All three of his GRAMMY wins have been alongside Kacey Musgraves.

In 2019, Shane joined fellow esteemed songwriter-producers Ryan Tedder and Ester Dean for NBC’s songwriting competition Songland, which introduced McAnally to a series of Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop artists he would otherwise have missed.
