American multi-instrumentalist, composer/producer, and graphic designer, currently based in Philadelphia. He is one of the 7 co-founders of (and the current Director for) HyperPop Collective. (aka ‘Shay’ or ‘Shay Mo’)

Under his main project, Shady Monk produces electronic music containing influences from various genres, often incorporating significant use of bells, elements of jazz, piano, vgm/chip-tune, funk, glitch-hop and much more, with a heavy emphasis on chords and melody, and cinematic or orchestral undertones. While some of his work may contain vocals on occasion (either of his own or from featured guests) the majority of Shady Monk’s work tends to be instrumental in nature, conveying feelings, emotions, and settings through music.
