Seyon

Producer/engineer, Seyon is a versatile artist with his sound. He is best known for producing “6 for 6” and “Gangbiz” on UK artist Central Cee’s gold mixtape, Wild West. The Markham artist brings uniqueness to his samples and beats by experimenting with different genres. Born in Toronto, however Markham, Ontario has been home to Seyon since he was a few years old. At the age of six, Seyon began playing piano, followed by; learning how to play the guitar and drums at 12 years old.

Growing up in Markham, in the Greater Toronto Area, Seyon became heavily inspired by local artists from Toronto. Some of these artists include; The Weeknd, Drake, and Tory Lanez. When it comes to the art of producing, he takes inspiration from Max Martin, Cubeatz, Skrillex, OVO40, Metro Boomin, Murda Beatz, Frank Dukes, Mike Dean, Wondagurl, Southside and Zedd.

At the age of 14, Seyon started experimenting with producing by making beats off of his laptop, and at only 19 years old, he collaborated with Toronto artist Houdini on his catchy single, “Kenzo”. In the upcoming years, Seyon is working towards collaborating with more artists and is determined to be a top-selling producer.
