Nazeer Ejua Defares (03/17/96—02/26/21), known professionally as Scarfo Da Plug, was a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Louisiana, Scarfo moved to the east side of Atlanta as a teen. He began to take music seriously in 2017 and released his debut mixtape Eviction Notice. Scarfo was known for his presence in the Atlanta underground as well as his extensive collaboration with rappers from the DMV. He released a number of mixtapes, with his final project being 2020’s Trap Jesus. On February 26, 2021, Scarfo Da Plug was shot and killed in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles at the age of 24.
