About Saves the Day

A band from Princeton, New Jersey that was formed in 1994, originally under the name Sefler, that is considered to be melodic hardcore (mostly on Can’t Slow Down), emo, pop punk, and punk rock. Their original line up consisted of Chris Conley (vocals and bass), Justin Gaylord (guitar), and Bryan Newman (drums), but their current line up is Chris Conley (vocals and guitar), Arun Bali (guitar), Dennis Wilson (drums), and Rodrigo Palma (bass). Their best known releases are 1999’s Through Being Cool, which is an iconic emo/pop punk album, and 2001’s Stay What You Are. Their biggest hits are At Your Funeral (off of Stay What You Are), and Rocks Tonic Magic Juice (off of Through Being Cool).
