Satellite Empire is the creation of duo Alene Padilla-Tiller and Nestor Padilla-Tiller, who also founded the independent label New Dawn Collective in 2015.

Though a side project, with Nestor and Alene working as full-time soundtrack engineers and cinematography editors in the industry, Satellite Empire has risen to the fore in the underground EDM community.

Alene’s spell-binding vocals and Nestor’s rich guitar have appeared on numerous New Dawn releases, culminating in the release of their debut EP Thrones in 2016. They have also appeared on Ophelia Records, collaborating with the likes of Last Heroes and Crystal Skies.
