About Samm Henshaw

Iniabasi Samuel Henshaw, better known as Samm Henshaw (b. 22 February 1994) is a singer, songwriter and record producer from South London.

His parents, who have Nigerian origins, raised him in a house full of musical sounds and in a strong Christian ambient, as he tells us in his song “Church”. So, becoming a musician and giving his works a soulful, gospel-like print was written in his DNA…

After publishing two EP from the series “The Sound Experiment”, in 2018 Henshaw has started to make it in the mainstream, thanks to BBC Radio’s endorsement and to the success of three singles: “How Does It Feel?”, “Broke” and “Doubt”, which features a verse by the Grime artist Wretch 32.

After this little break-out, Henshaw has moved on making new music and he has given a kick-off to 2019 with the previously-quoted “Church”, featuring Dreamville-signed rap duo EARTHGANG.
