My name is Samira Manners and I’m a twenty year old swedish/british newly established
artist and songwriter. I want to convey the feelings and opinions I have, in an honest way through my music. I am inspired by artists such as Tracy Chapman, Julia Michaels and Maisie Peters and their incredibly way of melody and songwriting.

My new single “Friend of Mine” for me, is about a friend who is struggling and feels very alone but can’t find a way to open up and talk about their struggles. It is about seeing your friend in a dark place and wishing they would talk to you about it, but also understanding how hard it is for them to let you in. The song is, at the end of the day, about letting them know that no matter what, you are there for them.
