19-year-old Sam Eagle, is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the coast of Essex. Citing influences such as Nick Hakim, Sufjan Stevens, Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar and Thundercat – Sam has worked on creating a sound that brings jazzy, left field pop tunes to the indie genre.
Since releasing his debut single ‘15/8’ just 6 months ago and follow up single ‘Ode To Jack McBrayer’, Sam has quickly picked up strong support from BBC 6Music and BBC Introducing, with plays from Tom Robinson, Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq, Shaun Keavney and Gideon Coe.
