Born on November 28th, Sam Creighton is a rising pop singer from Boston, Massachusetts who debuted in the music scene in 2018 with her original song “Adore”.
Creighton has been into music since she was a baby, saying that she would sing on her grandpa’s lap and sing with him while he played the piano. Her interest in music started to grow bigger in middle school and high school where she did musical theater and in college where she participated in an acapella group. At the beginning of her music career, she was featured in the 2015 Netflix show called Sing It On and got the opportunity to sing for the ex-president of the United States Barack Obama and ex-first lady Michelle Obama. She moved to Los Angeles to be able to pursue her career as a musician and release her music.
Creighton cites Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Betty Who and Julia Michaels as some of her inspirations, while also mentioning drag queens and her mom as non-musical inspirations.
