About Saja Boys

Saja Boys is a fictional K-pop boy group from the 2025 Netflix animated film K-Pop Demon Hunters. Their name, “Saja” (사자), carries layered meanings in Korean, signifying both “lion” and “messenger/envoy.” These dual meanings are embedded in the group’s identity, with lion imagery featured prominently in their logo and lightsticks. “Saja” is also a reference to jeoseung saja (저승사자), or the grim reaper, reflecting the group’s supernatural role as messengers between the human world and the demon realm.

The group consists of five members. Only member Jinu is identified by a character name. The remaining members are identified as Baby Saja, Mystery Saja, Romance Saja, and Abs Saja (Abby).

For the film’s original songs, South Korean singer and composer Andrew Choi sings as Jinu, the Korean-American artist and songwriter, currently affiliated with THEBLΛƆKLΛBEL, Danny Chung sings as Baby Saja, U-KISS member, Kevin Woo sings as Mystery Saja, K-Pop songwriter, samUIL sings as Romance Saja, and Indie Korean artist neckwav sings as Abs Saja.

As part of the movie, Saja Boys released two original songs, “Soda Pop” and “Your Idol.”
