Saint Motel is an indie rock band originating in Orange County, now from Los Angeles. The members consist of A/J Jackson (vocals, guitar, piano), Aaron Sharp (lead guitar), Dak Lerdamornpong (bass), and Greg Erwin (drums). They have released four albums: ForPlay, Voyeur, My Type, and saintmotelevision. They have performed or opened at a number of shows over their career.

The stories behind the name of the band vary, but in this interview with USA Today, A/J says it was a combination of “a few different names we were working with, and the two words just lined up, almost like a slot machine. Nobody hated it, we had the dot-com, and it was pretty hard to make fun of in a sexual way. So we were like, ‘OK, let’s go with that.’ ”
