About SahBabii

Saaheem Malik Valdery (born February 24, 1997), popularly known as SahBabii, is an American recording artist and rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia.

SahBabii was born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in the city’s south side in the Wentworth Gardens projects. His aunt, TeeBaby, gave him the moniker “SahBabii” at a young age. In 2010, at age 13, he moved to Atlanta’s 9th Ward to be closer to his father and older brother, fellow artist T3, the latter of which produced and mastered his early mixtapes Pimpin Ain’t Eazy and Glocks & Thots.

In 2016, Sah’s song “Pull Up wit ah Stick” gained widespread popularity, being unofficially remixed by Lil Wayne, T-Pain, and Wiz Khalifa. Drake also expressed interest in adding a verse of his own to the song’s official remix. In 2017, while on tour with Drake, Young Thug flew Sah to London, United Kingdom, where he met Drake, and Thug officially remixed the track.

SahBabii’s breakthrough full-length project, S.A.N.D.A.S., was released in October 2016, with a remastered version released under Warner Bros in 2017. This was followed by Squidtastic in 2018, 3P in 2019, and Barnacles in 2020. Sah’s debut studio album, Do It For Demon, was released in 2021.
