Born in Abu Dhabi, Saif Musaad (SAFE) grew up in Drake’s hometown of Toronto. When he was 13, Saif Musaad began to write lyrics, but found it difficult to find his own style. However, when Musaad’s first two tracks fell into the hands of Oliver Et-Khatib of OVO, Musaad’s career launched, having gone from releasing his first track on SoundCloud to selling out at Toronto’s Mod Club in just nine months.
