Saâda Bonaire were a group conceived of by Bremen club DJ Ralph “Von” Richtoven and produced by Dennis Bovell, with Richtoven’s fiancee Stephanie Lange and her friend Claudia Hossfeld as vocalists.
They had one unsuccessful single in 1984 called “You Could Be More As You Are,” and then were immediately dropped from their label. Their other recordings were unheard until they were reissued as a compilation in 2013.
