S.H.E (女朋友) formed in 2001 by HIM International Music with members Hebe Tien, Ella Chen, and Selina Jen.

Before their debut, their company decided to have the three girls – who went by different stage names at the time (Selina was Cola, Hebe was Anita, and Ella was Water) – live together in an effort to work on the group’s chemistry.

They released their first album “Girl’s Dorm” in 2001, an homage to the girl’s time spent living together. The girls found much success, as it gave the girls a nomination for Best New Artist’s Award in 2002. S.H.E would later become to be regarded as Taiwan’s most successful and well enduring group in the country overall.

In 2019, as a result of their success, they each founded their own company and decided not to renew their contracts with HIM International Music, though they still remain active.
