About S Club 8

S Club 8, formerly known as ’S Club Juniors' were formed as a spin-off to British group, “S Club 7”. The group comprised of 8 members – Jay Asforis, Daisy Evans, Calvin Goldspink, Stacey McClean, Aaron Renfree, Hannah Richings, Frankie Bridge (nee Sandford) & Rochelle Humes (nee Wiseman) – who were all in their early teens or younger when they were picked to be in the band via the TV series “S Club Search” in 2001.

S Club 8 were originally intended as just a support act for S Club 7’s “Carnival” tour, but due to their rising popularity, they ended up being signed, and released 2 top 10 albums, and 6 top ten UK singles, before disbanding in 2004.

Since the band’s split, many of the former members have gone on to stay in the entertainment industry, in various job roles such as singer/songwriters, a West End performer and a choreographer. The most notable of these being Frankie & Rochelle, who went on to join British/Irish girlband “The Saturdays” together, and who have both also ventured into TV presenting in the UK. Fellow S Club 8 member, Aaron, also served as a backing dancer and choreographer for many of The Saturdays live performances.
