Ryan Williamson, known as Rykeyz, is a producer from Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and created a small label where he produced tracks for artists around campus. He soon began interning at The Island Def Jam Music Group. As an intern, he sent the track “Rain” to the R&B artist Razah and it became a single. Ne-Yo signed him to his production company, Compound Entertainment, and soon Williamson moved to Los Angeles and got a publishing deal with Sony Music.
He produced the song, “Slow Down” by Skip Marley and H.E.R., which was nominated for Best R&B Song at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards.
