Kim Ryeowook (김려욱), is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer and actor. He became a trainee under SM Entertainment after taking part in the 2004 CMB Youth ChinChin Festival, impressing the judges with his singing talent.
Ryeowook was the last member to join SUPER JUNIOR (excluding Kyuhyun, who joined in 2006), having only trained for a couple of weeks before debuting in November of 2005.
In late 2006, Ryeowook, along with fellow SUPER JUNIOR members Yesung and Kyuhyun, formed a subgroup named SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y., becoming the first K-pop subunit in history. The unit debuted on November 5, 2006.
In April of 2008, Ryeowook became a member of SUPER JUNIOR’s 4th subgroup and 1st foreign subgroup, SUPER JUNIOR-M. They debuted with a remake of their hit song “U”.
On January 28, 2016, Ryeowook finally made his solo debut with his first mini album “어린왕자 (The Little Prince)”.
