Russell Edward Brand (born June 4, 1975) is a British actor, comedian and television personality, perhaps best known for his standup comedy and movie roles. He has also taken up political activism and involvement with substance abuse support groups, often making use of his influence via his YouTube channel.

In 2010, he married Katy Perry. They divorced less than two years later.

In 2017, he married fashion designer Laura Gallacher and they have a daughter named Mabel.
