Ruganje (Croatian for mockery), also known as AlterEgo Music, is a Croatian rap group founded in 2010 in Split. They have released three mixtapes so far. The first mixtape, titled Ruganje Mixtape, gained significant popularity in 2012, thanks to the hit single “Mladen Grdović” and the song “Želin.”
Their second mixtape, released in 2016, marked their debut on streaming platforms beyond YouTube.
Their third mixtape, Mixtap3, serves as a compilation that includes solo songs from the three current members alongside collaborative tracks.
Originally, Ruganje consisted of members Bobsi, Axx, Adam, Žuvi, and Tomo. Žuvi was the first member to leave the group, starting a collaboration with Krešo Bengalka in 2013. Shortly after, Tomo also left to pursue a solo career.
During the production of the second mixtape, Marsino joined Ruganje. He first appeared as a featured artist on the track “Misli Misli” from the first mixtape. Marsino’s last collaboration with Ruganje was on the self-titled song “Ruganje” from Bobsi’s second solo album in 2018.
The current members of Ruganje are Axx, Bobsi, and Adam.
