Founded in 1988 Ruff Ryders Entertainment is a Hip-Hop record label founded by Joaquin Dean, Darin Dean and Chivon Dean; who are the uncles and aunt of well-known producer Swizz Beatz.

Ruff Ryders' was most notable for managing rapper DMX and The LOX (Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch) who all became stars for Def Jam and Bad Boy in the late-1990s.
